RAISE YOUR HAND FOR CURES.
We all know someone who is suffering and in need of a cure – whether it’s a parent struggling with Alzheimer’s disease, a friend in a wheelchair with a spinal cord injury or a child battling juvenile diabetes.
Their search for cures becomes our search for cures.
All Michigan families deserve the very best in medical care and research available.
That’s why Michigan’s restrictions are so frustrating. Only five states – Arkansas, North and South Dakota, Louisiana and Michigan – place such extreme limits on the scientists working to find cures for millions of suffering people.
Michigan voters can change that. The ballot in November will help throw open the doors for embryonic stem cell research, which many experts consider our best chance at finding cures for juvenile diabetes, sickle cell anemia, Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s, breast and prostate cancer, spinal cord injuries and more.
Watch out for the heated rhetoric though. It’s important to get the facts.
